Quonset Hut Buildings
Disadvantages:
- A number of Quonset hut companies use high pressure tactics to sell what you may not want
- Might not be able to satisfy local snow or wind requirements
- Not an “attractive” structure
- Curvature of arch results in lost useable interior square footage
- Interior finishing (electrical, insulation) difficult to accomplish
- No paint options available from the factory
- Side door openings not an option.
- Expensive to insulate efficiently

Disadvantages:
- May need interior columns
- Width options severely limited
- No interior cranes able to designed for or utilized
- Excessive parts
- Exterior metal sheeting usually very thin
- Smaller pole barns can be very expensive
- You will probably have to purchase the wood and insulation separate from the base building costs.
- May not come with endwalls
