When is Your Building Going to Be Delivered? 1/5
August 24th, 2007
As a new steel building customer, in order to help ensure that you understand all of the aspects applicable to the delivery of your structure, you’ll have to be in contact with the manufacturer on a regular basis. Of course, once the building is finally hauled in, construction can now begin. (It should be delivered according to your design specifications and be pre-engineered or ready to be assembled.) Usually, this is handled by a third-party carrier although some steel building suppliers do deliver via their own fleet of trucks. When you’re contracting with a professional supplier, they tend to be reliable in delivering your new pre-engineered steel building just the way you ordered it. Whenever you have special accommodations for shipping, figure this into your schedule and especially don’t wait until the last minute to inform the steel building supplier. Changes to shipping arrangements close to the shipping date might cost you a lot of money in fees. >>>to be continued
