Just a Little Preparation 2/6

Before you purchase a pre-engineered steel building find out how many (and what) building code requirements it has met. Don’t settle for just the minimum amount. You could end up with a building that is not up to code for your area. Here’s a little word of caution. Just because a building manufacturer has identified one of its buildings as having met code does not mean that the building will necessarily meet ALL of the building codes for your particular area. This is an indication that you are dealing with a reputable manufacturer which will stand behind its product. However, you will be responsible to find out if the building meets the codes of the designated area in which construction will begin.     >>> to be continued
