A number of building inspectors may require that your drawings be stamped by an engineer. Design calculations and engineer stamped drawings are available from most professional building manufacturers and/or suppliers. Most organizations will demand an engineering deposit from you before complete standard erection drawings can be provided. Anchor bolt plans will provide your local foundation engineer with all the essential information to design a solid foundation for the building. Many companies utilize a computer generated drawing program in order to accomplish this. The drawings provided by the building supplier will also include diagrams of each connection that will be used in your steel building as well as cross-section diagrams for every part of your building.
